The connected customer journey

Discover, enquire, capture,
route, respond, qualify,
convert, reconcile, improve.

Nine stages every enquiry passes through, and the hand-off inside each one where it can quietly disappear. Select a stage below, then explore the demonstration with fictional data.

The enquiry nobody saw

One enquiry’s journey,
drawn in code.

Five stations of a business: enquiry, conversation, CRM record, quote, sale. The light wakes each in turn, dies at the gap before the CRM record, then GoodCloud’s layer carries it across. A drawing that explains the idea; it shows no real system or data.

Discover: A prospect finds you

Someone with a need finds your business through search, an advert, a referral, social media or a directory.

What happens

  • A visitor arrives from a search result, a paid campaign, a referral link, a social post or a listing.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms record the visit, often in different ways.
  • The source of that visit is the only chance to connect a later sale back to the marketing that caused it.

What can go wrong

  • The visit is counted but the source is never carried into the enquiry.
  • Campaign links are inconsistent, so one campaign appears under several names.
  • Reports count clicks while the sales team counts conversations. The two never meet.

How GoodCloud helps

  • Set up consistent tracking and campaign naming before changing anything else.
  • Carry the source into every enquiry channel, including WhatsApp and phone where possible.
  • Define which events matter and check the data before anyone draws conclusions.

Demonstration one

The enquiry journey.

One fictional enquiry, eight hand-offs. Choose a scenario to see which hand-off fails, what the business could and could not see, and what the repair looks like. Illustrative demonstration using fictional data. Not a live client system.
